Just had an email from Toyota saying that the MyT by Toyota app will stop working soon, to be replaced by the TOYOTA MyT app. So, like a good boy, I download the new app. Start it up and it want's my car's VIN. Type in the VIN and it says - "you should connect by scanning the QR code on the car display unit". Go out to the car - cannot find anywhere that brings up a QR code to scan.
Has anyone successfully done this yet?
Found it! Had to pretend to set up a new profile.
Pity Toyota don't think to mention that instead of just saying "Scan the QR code on your display unit "
