On my old Ford, when I pressed the windscreen demist button, it would turn on the A/C and crank the heat up. Incoming air went through the A/C to condense out moisture from the air then through the heater to blow warm dry air on the windscreen.
On my Yaris Cross, the windscreen demist button just seems to turn on the A/C and blow cold dry air on the windscreen. It clears the windscreen but I can't leave it on long because I get cold. I've then got moist air hitting a cold windscreen which fogs up again.
Is this normal for a Y.C. or is it supposed to work like my old Ford?
